7 Things You Need To Know Before Choosing a Colon Hydrotherapist

This may shock you, but did you know that all a person needs to call themselves a "Colon Hydrotherapist"  is a weekend training or two of training under their belt and a bucket to hold water.

If that doesn't scare you, then I just don't know what will.

So here are a few questions you should be asking a potential therapist who will be administering colonics to you. I can't stress this enough. Do not shop by price alone. You must interview them.

Print out the following questions to have handy by the telephone.

How To Choose Where To Get a  Colonic

1) Background –

Prior life experiences, what were they doing before this career? Were they working as a waitress or in retail…Or were they in the medical field?

You want someone with medical experience and training. Do not settle for anything less than a medically supervised colonic.

2) Training –

Are they certified in their career. If they are…Certified and by who? Specifically ask about their training and certification. Are they certified by  I-ACT, the National Board?

Any serious colon hydrotherapist will be I-ACT Certified. Do not settle for anything else.

3) Level of Training –

Are they Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced or Instructor Level? Did you know that someone can legally administer colonics as a hydrotherapist and only be at the Foundation level ?

Would you rather have a “beginner” colon hydrotherapist that charges only $40.00 for a colonic…or would you feel more comfortable with an experienced instructor with medical experience as a registered nurse.

4) Experience –

Years in business. Is this a brand new business? How many years are they in business? Demand service from an established business. Inner Health and Beauty has been doing medically supervised colonics for over 8 years.

5) Other Health Services Offered – Spa (massage, facials, body wraps) vs. Clinical

Applications (FIR Sauna, Tissue Cleanse, Ionic Foot Detox, Lymphatic Drainage).  This is your health we are talking about, not just simply deciding to get a colonic while getting your nails done. A Naturopathic Practitioner that administers colon irrigation therapy can help you in every aspect of inner cleansing.

6) Holistic Care –

Recognize and supports the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual components of the healing process.

7) Equipment –

Is the equipment FDA cleared and disposable single use rectal tubes used?  The key is "single use". I do not think you want to unknowingly share one of these!

Be wary of anything else as you may be in contact with equipment that is screaming with unsanitary  bacteria. After much research we have decided to use the LIBBE system. Click here to find out why.

Finally in conclusion when looking for a therapist, consider experience vs. cost!

Sure you might be able to save a few dollars with a colonic from a bucket.

But it comes down to “Price” Vs. “Cost”.

What is an inexpensive $40 colonic going to “Cost” you in the long run health wise or infection wise?

After all, aren’t you worth it?
