Colon Irrigation Atlanta FAQColon Irrigation Frequently Asked QuestionsHow Big Is The Rectal Tube That Is Used During Colon Irrigation? How sanitary is a colon irrigation? How long does a colon hydrotherapy or colon irrigation session last? How many sessions should I initially have? What about the good bacteria? Will a colonic take the good bacteria away? Q. How Big Is The Rectal Tube That Is Used During Colon Irrigation? A. The tube that we use during our colon irrigation session is about the size of a pencil that you self-insert. Please be assured that each tube is sterile, and individually packaged for single use application. Q. How sanitary is a colon irrigation? A. The FDA requires the equipment we use live up to 100% compliance with their strict FDA guidelines. The water we use during our colon irrigation has been cleaned and filtered before using it. The rectal tubes we use are sterile, and individually packaged for only one single application. Many of our clients have also commented that we keep our entire facility exceptionally clean. Q. How long does a colon hydrotherapy or colon irrigation therapy last? A. The actual session usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes. If it's your first visit with us, please plan on being with us for a full 2 hours. This will allow us to complete the necessary forms. Q. How many sessions should I initially have? A. The general rule is 10 to 12 sessions. The first two should be back to back sessions in the same week (ie: Monday and Wednesday). The remaining sessions should be completed over the next 8 weeks. Q. What about the good bacteria? Will a colonic take the good bacteria away? A. Most Americans have only 20% good bacteria and 80% bad bacteria in their digestive tract. The balance should be the opposite in that there should be 80% good bacteria to 20% bad bacteria. It is recommended to supplement your diet with a strong probiotic during the cleansing process and beyond. If I have not addressed your particular question or concern here, then feel free to call me.
